For the first time in 10 years there will be no bonuses paid at Foster’s this year. This should be no surprise given the business posted an 88.4 per cent fall in annual profit in figures released in late August.
However these figures did include a $730.4 million dollar write down on their international wine business. This does not leave all the employees in the stronger performing beer business smiling as they take the hit like everyone else.
Staff retention has never been a strong point at Foster’s, with more restructures than a game of JENGA. Don’t think this announcement will help with the climate survey they will conduct shortly across the organisation and recruiters watch out for a flood of resumes in the email
Anyone else miss a bonus this year? Do the survey on the right!
