I think it is a mucher safer way to launch your own business. You have the corporate systems and advertising to give you the best chance of making a go of it and leaving you to do what you do best and run the business on a day to day basis.

Benchmarking is critical to refining business practice to ensure re-investing to ensure growth is not only maximized but also not propping up areas in the business where better performance would eliminate or minimize that need to re-invest.

When deciding to venture out on your own, there are a lot of factors that one must take into consideration, especially when there are so many elements of risk involved. Giving up a steady income stream, access to resources and job security are some of them. Therefore when making the leap from working for a company to the formation of a private enterprise, it is important to weigh up the opportunity costs associated with this move and to plan accordingly.

The induction programs offered by Bakers Delight sounds like a fantastic idea to help provide people considering venturing out on their own with the knowledge on how to make day to day decisions, with book keeping skills and how to place enthuses on customer service to enhance a consumers experience and maximize sales. Great Idea and one that I like!!!!!!
